Originally from New York, I’ve been making sound more beautiful, in the city, and in the surrounding Northeast, for the past 2 decades.
I’ve enjoyed working in a broad range of genres and disciplines; from tracking, mixing and producing rock bands, to working with rap groups and pop artists, to classical and theater, all the way to recording kalimba records. And in the post world as a sound mixer, sound designer, foley artist, and ADR recordist/editor, I’ve worked on content for the big screen, the small screen, and the video game screen. Additionally, I’ve also composed music for a variety of projects.
I approach every project as if it’s my own. I want every record, every film, every piece of audio I touch, to sound the best it possibly can. That said, I focus on fast solutions, accomplishing your specific goals, and reducing the number of revisions we need to arrive at a successful final product, both on time, and under budget. I’m also a big tech geek, I’m always digging around to keep up with new media trends, so you can be confident our final outputs will be compatible with the latest formats.
My work has shown at Sundance, Slamdance, Tribeca and other film festivals. And as well, it’s appeared on ABC, NBC, MSNBC, HBO, MTV, ESPN, PBS, CNN, Discovery, Nickelodeon, The WB, Bravo, A&E, BET, IFC, Oxygen, WE TV, The Playboy Channel, Spike, and Biography. I’ve worked on feature films, TV shows, commercials, documentaries, industrials, webisodes, audio for theatrical productions, multimedia and radio spots. I’ve also worked with bands and artists for Sony Records, Arista, Hollywood, Tommy Boy, Jive, Elektra, Def Squad, along with many independent artists.
In my free time, I follow my other passions – producing and directing music videos and films; fronting and composing music for my original band, Our Saber Tooth Brains; and I also love to box.
Whether you’re overseas, across the country, just across the Hudson, or in New York City, I’d love to hear from you; on top of traveling to studios and post facilities, I also work with clients virtually from my home studio. So drop me a line and tell me about your record, your film, or any of your upcoming audio projects.
